LYRICS to NOVEMBER THIRD IS COMING
Marc Emory
November 3rd is coming, get ready for some flak
Won’t you please give a billion to your fav’rite PAC
If you haven’t got a billion, a half-a one’ll do.
If you haven’t got a half-a one, who needs you?
November 3rd is coming, a slugfest it’ll be
You can follow on your laptop or on T V
If you’re still undecided, an article will do
If you’ve never red an article, God bless you!
November 3rd is coming, the race is open wide
“We approve this stupid message” ‘til you decide.
You might like the right wing, or hate the G O P
But you can’t vote since you have the wrong I.D.!
November 3rd is coming and no one’s playing nice
You might get fired upon by ICE
They might let you vote, and they might turn you away
And they might draw their guns and say, “Make My Day!”
November 3rd is coming, the choices are so clear
It’s important that your vote gets heard this year.
You might like the outcome, or it might make you cry
Don’t complain or find yourself in Uruguay!
BASED ON CHRISTMAS IS COMING
The following are common representative lyrics:
Christmas Is Coming” is a traditional nursery rhyme and Christmas song frequently sung as a round. It is listed as number 12817 in the Roud Folk Song Index.
Christmas is coming, the goose is getting fat
Please put a penny in the old man’s hat
If you haven’t got a penny, a ha’penny will do
If you haven’t got a ha’penny, a farthing will do.
If you haven’t got a farthing God bless you!
Although the lyrics begin appearing in print in 1885[1] and 1886,[2] they are presented without an author and in a way of cataloging something that was already mostly common knowledge of the time. Some sources have variants of these lyrics and additional verses.

Thank you. Wonderful as always. Your parodies have kept me sane for years. In fact throughout the awful Trump administrations, they have (curiously) brought hope. You tell it how it is, but that this is never the end of story. What we sow we reap. And that will yet happen with the corrupt and ruthless President and those who keep him in power.
