BYE-BYE BOVINO (Five-Foot-Four) | Don Caron & COMALite J

posted in: Political Parody | 3

Bovino’s sudden demotion is the clearest sign yet that the Trump administration is reconsidering its most aggressive tactics after the killing Saturday of 37-year-old Alex Pretti by Border Patrol agents under Bovino’s command.
Gregory Bovino has been removed from his role as Border Patrol “commander at large” and will return to his former job in El Centro, California, where he is expected to retire soon, according to a DHS official and two people with knowledge of the change. source: The Atlantic – Nick Miroff

LYRICS by COMALite J

Five-foot four, boss no more,
Bovino has been shown the door.
Has anybody seen ol’ Greg?
Have you seen him?

Turned out claws, turned down laws,
Rarely chuckles or guffaws.
Has anybody seen ol’ Greg?

Now if in times of yore, a five-foot four
Arrests on a whim
Fascist rings, and all those things,
Save your life, ’cause that is him.

Could he club, and could he shoot
Could he kick you with his boot?
Has anybody seen ol’ Greg?

WHAT THE SONG IS ABOUT

A top US immigration official is expected to leave the US city of Minneapolis in what may mark a shift in the White House’s tone after the fatal shooting of a second US citizen by federal officers over the weekend.

As Border Patrol Commander Gregory Bovino and some immigration agents leave, President Donald Trump’s border tsar Tom Homan will begin leading on-the-ground efforts in the city after the fatal shooting of Alex Pretti on Saturday escalated tensions.

Trump’s decision may indicate the administration’s interest in walking back more aggressive federal action in his nationwide immigration crackdown.

Despite the announcement, online tracking shows immigration raids have continued.
